What is nanotechnology?
Nanotechnology deals with the material having size in the nanometres.

If we consider  study of any metal at nano level we find change in the properties of that metal. e.g. colour ,electroconductivity
 Case-1 :  If consider gold ( Au - aurum -79) it has yellowish colour by naked eyes. If  we divided the gold in number of parts then its solution will give different colours like blue, red, green , sky blue etc. 

 Case - 2 :
If consider altropes of carbon diamond , graphite , fullerene . 
A single layer of graphite will give us graphene which has totally different properties than graphite.

Means  if we go at nano level of any material properties are going to change . Some expectional cases are always there.

It is instruments with the help of that we can make different nanomaterials.

Definition: The branch of chemistry which deals with study of carbon & carbon related compounds is known as organic chemistry.
